Held under the sponsorship of Ministry of Information and Communication and the collaboration of Authority of Information Security - MIC and several agencies and institutions operating in the field of information security, the voting program for "Information Security Product of High Quality" and "Prominent Information Security Service" is the annual activity of VNISA, which was first rolled out in 2015 in order to assess, recognize and honor information security products and services with good quality. The new point of this year's program is that the voting council has agreed to assess and recommend additional certification of "Excellent New Information Security Product" in order to encourage the creation of new and highly innovative information security products.At the announcement and title award ceremony on November 30th, 2018, Mr. Vu Lam Bang (Director of CMC Inforsec) represented CMC Infosec to receive all three prizes: "Information Security Product of High Quality", "Prominent Information Security Service", and "Excellent New Information Security Product 2018".

The titles of "Information Security Product of High Quality 2018" and "Prominent Information Security Service 2018" are assessed and voted according to primary criteria including the needs and performance of the application, technology and product quality, market and supporting services, and percentage of market domination Two solutions of anti-malware for enterprises, CMC Internet Security Enterprise (CISE) and Penetration Testing and Assessment service of CMC Infosec have earned these two titles, respectively. In particular, CISE is integrated with AI (Artificial Intelligence) to detect abnormalities, analyze and identify behaviors of malware. It is a solution prioritized by CMC Infosec for research and development.Notably, the new point of this year's program is that the voting council has agreed to assess and recommend additional certification of "Excellent New Information Security Product" in order to encourage the creation of new and highly innovative information security products. In the first time this prize is awarded, CMC NextGen SOC has been able to receive it. SOC (Security Operation Center) is a center within a system which is tasked with monitoring, detecting, quarantining and handling incidents and is responsible for the safety and security of network devices, security devices, servers or workstations. CMC NextGen SOC is a perfect combination of 3 factors: Technology-Process-Human in order to monitor, detect and automatically react to all information security incidents, with the superior combination of AI-Machine Learning technology and Automation, which allows early detection of abnormal signs. All technologies and processes of CMC SOC are developed and operated by Vietnamese engineers of CMC Infosec.

This year, members of voting council are prestigious managers and experts from major agencies, organizations and enterprises in the field of Information security, such as: Cyber Command - Ministry of National Defense; National Agency of Cryptography and Information Security - Government Committee for Cipher; Vietnam Computer Emergency Response Team (VNCERT) - Ministry of Information and Communications, etc. Mr. Vu Quoc Thanh (Vice Chairman of VNISA Executive Board) emphasized: “This year's voting program of Vietnam Information Security Association selects completed products and services with high quality regarding information safety and security, made in Vietnam, owned by Vietnamese enterprises/organizations who mastered the technology. This year we added the prize of Excellent New Information Security Product since in Vietnam, this field is still quite new, thus it is needed to encourage the investment in and development of products in this field, even if they are still in production stage and yet to be launched. For this prize, CMC SOC solution of CMC Infosec has been well-received by the voting council for having good quality, thus it has been promoted on the market.”
